A tech pack is a manufacturing document
It is not a moodboard. At minimum it should let a pattern maker and a printer work without guessing. If you cannot produce one, say you need ODM support instead of attaching a logo on a white page and calling it a tech pack.
Core pages
Use consistent units (cm or inches) throughout.
- Cover: style name, season, buyer, date
- Flat sketches (front, back, side if needed)
- Measurement chart and tolerances
- BOM: fabric, thread, elastics, zippers, labels
- Artwork placements and print files
- Stitching notes
- Packing notes
Artwork files
Vector logos (AI, EPS, SVG, PDF). PNG/JPG for reference only unless they are true high-resolution raster graphics for sublimation. Call out EQUEST GEAR CMYK Color Book codes where matching is required.
