Why MOQ exists
Cutting, printing, sewing and packing have setup costs. A manufacturer sets a minimum so those setups are covered. Sublimation still has print-and-cut setups even though there is no screen count per color.
MOQ is usually per style / colorway
Twenty mixed sizes of one jersey is not the same as twenty different designs. Ask whether MOQ is per colorway. Size assortment within a style is commonly allowed; new artwork usually is not “free extra”.
What EQUEST GEAR publishes
Programs start from 25 uniforms where the garment allows. Quantity slabs (25–49, 50–99, 100–199, 200–499, 500–999, 1000+) each have a published indicative EX-WORKS unit price. Some styles still need a higher minimum, which is confirmed in writing after we see the spec.
How to plan
If you are a small club, say so and ask for the minimum on that exact kit. If you are a distributor, split forecast by style so the factory can plan fabric. Request bulk pricing rather than chasing a number copied from another website.
